<![CDATA[CANNABUS Las Vegas Tour - Canna News]]>Fri, 25 Aug 2017 18:40:18 -0700Weebly<![CDATA[Where to smoke in las vegas?]]>Wed, 16 Aug 2017 15:30:00 GMThttp://cannabus-tours.com/canna-news/where-to-smoke-in-las-vegas
So July 1, 2017 hit and suddenly marijuana was available to everyone over the age of 21 in Las Vegas. So it was no surprise when we had to navigate this sensitive topic soon after. It starts with a friend from back home that popped into Las Vegas recently, and yep as you would likely guess the first question he had for me is where can I get weed in Las Vegas? I smiled at this because this is always the cool question. You get to be the authority on your opinion of the best Las Vegas dispensaries to purchase marijuana from in Vegas. Then the next question came, and this of course turned my smile upside down. Where can I smoke at? Well, as you can imagine this is an extremely gray area, but particularly in Las Vegas. This means marijuana consumption on the Las Vegas Strip or its corridor or anywhere near Fremont St. Downtown is strictly prohibited. Only smoking in a private home or private residence is allowed.

So what is one to do you ask? Unfortunately we can't give any advice in this area. We can however tell you that the law states that it's a misdemeanor to possess two ounces of marijuana or less. But be careful, there is a fine for this if caught; as well as a fine for being caught consuming in public. So then really, what are we supposed to do you ask? We like that you are all over this and doing what is best to make sure you are safe while visiting Las Vegas. We just ask that you come on back and visit us next year as we work hard as a State to provide safe measures for completely legal consumption. Until then, hold tight, Rome wasn't built overnight.

<![CDATA[is it Legal to smoke on Tour buses in las vegas?]]>Sun, 13 Aug 2017 17:30:00 GMThttp://cannabus-tours.com/canna-news/is-it-legal-to-smoke-on-tour-buses-in-las-vegas
Don't break out the cigars just yet good people. We still have a little bit of a ways to get laws worked out in Las Vegas that will allow for public consumption in moving vehicles. Right now this is completely illegal and would require legislation to change the law in order to allow consumption on moving vehicles.

But don't fret. The minds at power are hard at work on a solution to this problem as Las Vegas is slated to be the New Amsterdam and will take over the marijuana industry of the United States in the coming years with his high level of adult tourism. Be encouraged that by 2018 this issue will be resolved either in the form of consumption in private approved consumption lounges or in moving vehicles. We will see which one wins the battle, but for now, cannabis use, marijuana use, etc. are still not allowed in the Las Vegas Strip corridor in public.

U.S.A.
On November 8, 2016, the voters in the United States legalized the recreational use of cannabis or 420 as sometimes referred, in four more States. The sale and consumption of the marijuana is now legal in Nevada, California, Massachusetts and Maine recreationally, as well as seven other States of America. The State of Arizona narrowly failed to pass recreational marijuana and Nevada was the first of all States to open the recreational market up to the public on July 1, 2017

Uruguay
This was the first country to make the consumption of marijuana legal. It legalizes the production of cannabis products for the use of the cannabis for adults or anyone over the age of 21 years old. The marijuana consumers must register first with the authorities and let the government track your purchase record from sale to purchase

Portugal
This is the first country that legalizes the use of all kinds of drugs and not just cannabis

India
This country strictly prohibits the use marijuana but it is allowed for some provinces, because it’s used by some associations for traditional medicine and for Hindu spirituality. Hindu worshipers are allowed to buy Bhang or the cannabis beverage as well as some edible cannabis that can be purchased from a licensed store.

Jamaica
The lawmakers of this country legalize the use of marijuana that allows the marijuana user to have two ounces of weed, equivalent to 56.6 grams. It allows also the cannabis user to plant this weed in their home up to five plants and can be planted outside. In 2018 look for Jamaica to open its first ‘Herb Houses’ equivalent to dispensaries in America today.

Argentina

<![CDATA[Cooking with cannabis]]>Fri, 11 Aug 2017 16:00:00 GMThttp://cannabus-tours.com/canna-news/cooking-with-cannabis
These days, there have been great strides in the realm of cannabis acceptance and legalization. There are all types of people, young and old, men and women, from all different demographics who now smoke cannabis on a regular basis, and do it freely. The great thing about cannabis is that many people are not only smoking it, but they are also cooking with it as well. Marijuana provides a great addition to many different dishes which result in tasty and delicious meals for anyone to enjoy. Some of the most popular dishes that people include cannabis in have traditionally been baked goods such as marijuana-infused cookies and brownies, but as of late, there are even more types of foods in which people are starting to incorporate marijuana. The reality is that any meal can be enhanced with weed, and it is not a difficult process to do so.

When cooking with cannabis, the most important aspect to remember is to first cook the cannabis itself in a 2 step cooking process. You do this by placing the cannabis scattered around in broken pieces, in an oven-safe baking dish and preheating the oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. It is best to leave as little space as possible between the cannabis pieces and never to stack the pieces on top of one another in the dish. You can then bake the cannabis pieces for 20 minutes in the oven. The cannabis should turn a shade or two darker when it is finished cooking. You then break up the cooked pieces of cannabis and bake it again the oven for another 45-60 minutes in an oven that is preheated to 240 degrees Fahrenheit. After the 2 step cooking process is completed, you can then infuse the cooked cannabis in oil or butter. You do this by heating the cannabis in butter or oil, straining it, and then adding it to various recipes which result in perfectly infused cannabis-laden dishes and baked goods.

<![CDATA[Legalization map of the u.s.]]>Fri, 19 May 2017 15:59:21 GMThttp://cannabus-tours.com/canna-news/legalization-map-of-the-us
Finally winning in the battle to full legalization, 2017 marked the first year that there are more states in the U.S. that have some form of legal cannabis laws in place than not. This is significant and a huge step in improving life for a lot of sick individuals and relaxing those that just need to break from a hectic day.

This shows that the common stigma's that has plagued the world the last century in relation to marijuana is now finally changing. The same thing occurred during alcohol prohibition and we don't expect the ball to stop falling anytime soon. Look at the new states on this map that are now coming online with new programs for either full legalization or medical programs alike.

A couple of states that have decriminalized but are not mentioned on this map is Missouri and Georgia. This is usually the first path that a state takes to prepare to become a legally operating medical state.

Then there is Nevada and California that each voted to join the legal recreational small group of states with Nevada currently winning the race with their launch date of July 1, 2017 into the legal market.
